In September 2021, we embarked on our first medical brigade, an inspiring mission that brought together a team of 13 from the United States and 17 Ghanaian medical staff. We were able to attend to 1,400 cases, providing much-needed medical and dental care to the people of Bankyease Village. Many of these individuals had never had access to medical care before.
We were profoundly moved by how God used Ghana Ministries to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing not just physical healing, but hope and compassion to those we served. It was a tangible demonstration of the Bible’s teaching in James 2:26: “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”
Building on the success of our inaugural mission, we are planning another Medical Brigade for 2022.
